Ally Member
Ally Member
An Ally Member is any person who is interested in advocating in favor of Proper-Fit PPE, acknowledging how women are disproportionately being affected. AWSAM defines our ally as a person with a social media presence who is willing to amplify on behalf of AWSAM.
Ally Member Requirements:
• Ally Members preferably have experience or know someone working in an industry requiring PPE.
• Ally Members commit to AWSAM’s mission/vision.
• Ally Members make their best effort to amplify AWSAM’s advocacy initiatives.
• Ally Members are committed to Gender Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.
• Ally Members encourage AWSAM membership growth.

Affiliate Membership
Affiliate Membership
An Affiliate Member is defined as an expert in the area of women’s PPE that they manufacture, design, distribute or supply. They share AWSAM’s vision. They adhere to the following minimum standard of best practice:-an Affiliate Member uses the most up-to-date data for women’s body dimensions (not just providing a range of smaller sizes of PPE designed using men’s standards!).-an Affiliate Member uses gender-based standards (women’s) common to the craft of producing(grading/patterning/modelling) their PPE product(s).-an Affiliate Member involves women in the engineering and design process of developing their PPE (field testing, focus groups, surveys…etc.) product(s).-an Affiliate Member provides industry guidance on proper-fit for their PPE product(s)
Partner Associate Member
Partner Associate Member
Partner Members are manufacturers, designers, distributors, or suppliers of the raw materials that
go into the manufacturing of PPE products (Eg: suppliers of fibers, fabrics, components…etc.)
Partner Member Requirements:
• A Partner Member shares AWSAM’s mission/vision, and commits to connecting online
presences (linking websites, social media etc.)
• A Partner Member agrees to amplify the advocacy efforts of AWSAM in respect to equal access to body appropriate PPE products.
• A Partner Member gets the right to first refusal and future preferential sponsorship options.
• A Partner Member agrees to presenting an Equity, Diversity, Inclusion eg: a statement on their website, if not already present.
Corporate Member
Corporate Member
A Corporate Member is any registered business entity that is not engaged in the design, or manufacture, or supply of PPE products.
Corporate Member Requirements:
• A Corporate Member commits to AWSAM’s mission/vision, and commit to connecting
online presences (linking websites, social media etc.).
• A Corporate Member commits to amplifying the advocacy efforts of AWSAM in respect to
equal access to body appropriate PPE.
