It is the mission and intention of this alliance to organize on Three Key Focus Actions of Awareness, Access, and Advocacy to support and elevate women in the workplace while supporting appropriate protection for them on the job. Members of this Alliance share similar end-users, including both distributors and customers, and strive to maintain a relationship of cooperative competition. This Alliance of Women’s Safety Apparel Manufacturers (AWSAM) seeks to reach a shared wide constituency that represents all trades, industries, and fields where PPE and workwear is needed.
